Meet The Doctors

Dr. Steven G. Schatz, DPM, FACFAS



Dr. Schatz grew up in Michigan and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from Michigan State University.  He worked as a Medical Technologist for a short time before returning to school to pursue his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, IL. He then completed a podiatric surgical residency at Holladay Park Medical Center in Portland, OR.

Dr. Schatz lives on a farm in LaCenter, WA and has a special interest in Arabian horses.  Other interests include spending time with family and friends, travel, food and wine, snow skiing, remodeling, landscaping and art.

Dr. Schatz has been in private practice in Longview since 1992 and is co-owner of the Ankle & Foot Clinic.

Dr. Karla A. Trombello, DPM, FACFAS



Dr. Trombello completed her residency at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.  While there, she received extensive training in all aspects of podiatric care, both surgical and conservative.  She specializes in diabetic foot care and limb salvage.  Dr. Trombello graduated from The California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco where she earned a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine Degree.

Dr. Trombello was born in Oregon and graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science in General Science.  She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Dr. Trombello has been in private practice at the Ankle & Foot Clinic since 1999 and is co-owner of the Ankle & Foot Clinic.
